Current mood: erm, that's not relief you're feeling anymore...
Why is it that momentary happiness must be rewarded by the gods with a swift kick to the knee?
All I can say: H&R Block is EVIL.
Far less refund for me :(
(Also? Why can't I just leave well enough alone? In addition: next year file early, stupid. So there is time for the yelling. And 4 months of interest.)

That's why we use "TurboTax." Although I remain convinced that our taxes should not be *so* difficult to do ourselves on paper.
But only if *I* do it because SOMEONE made a simple arithmetic error one year that caused a bit of runaround with getting our refund. Sheesh.
For us lazy folks, it's great to use the same firm year after year so they can just import your data from previous years' info. But, since discovering, you know, the EVIL, and the fact that I haven't been able to log in for days (I know the deadline for filing is coming up, but if you can't log on to efile, how does that help ANYONE?), I think I'll be switching firms next year. Turbo Tax, you say?
TurboTax *also* imports your data year after year (assuming you buy the program each year and install it on the same computer, I think). It's handy dandy and user-friendly. We did know one guy who worked for whatever company puts out TurboTax and he was a little more cynical about it, but that's what happens when you work behind the curtains...
