They were good

I ate the Hamantashen. They were fun to make and more fun to eat (I am a big fan of the less orthodox fillings, such as berry jams and preserves, and especially nutella). I decided that holiday vs. holiday = break for me, and, much like a St. Patrick's-celebrating, meat-eatin' Catholic person, I could properly celebrate Purim and add a day of cookie abstinence further on down the line. I will pick a day in which I have the the opportunity to eat something delicious and verboten, with scrumptious-looking cookies or beautiful cakes are begging me to eat them, and righteously deny myself by eating custard instead.

Poor me ;-)
