Current mood: Seriously??!! No, seriously??!!
I should have stayed in bed today. It seems that all the inanimate objects in my life hate me and every task is taking twice as long today. Let's review:
- I forgot my wallet at home and had to go back to retrieve it. Arf, arf.
- The bank line was long and the teller "lost" my account (for one blissful moment I contemplated life without a mortgage).
- The fluorescent lights in my office were doing the so-happy-to-see-you flickering dance that will surely give me seizures one day.
- My 2nd backup lamp burned out (first backup lamp is broken). Gah, seizure time!
- I was trying to format a document, when WordPerfect spazzed (surprise, surprise) and screwed up the whole document.
- Insurance people want to poke and prod me. Why? For their own amusement, I suppose.
- I was trying to email something to my boss when my computer decided to die. Completely crashed. An hour with the computer guy (demigod! thankyouthankyouthankyou) later...
- I have bangs. I have bangs. Why, oh why did I decide to get bangs??!! Annoying!!! Not cute!!! Itchy!!!!! Driving me bats!!!!!
- The car maintenance thing is going to cost roughly $250 more than previously estimated.
- The report I was working on is lno onger on my desk (carefully laid on top of my piles of papers for easy access). At all. It is gone :(
And, funnest of all, I've got deadlines, deadlines, and...deadlines. Thus, I am here, singing with Launchcast, amusing the cleaning staff, and busily clacking away.
(And OMG, while I was trying to input this, the font changed every 5 seconds. Seriously, I had arial, verdana, and times all battling it out, plus 4 different font sizes. Nice computer. Special, smart computer. COME ON!!!!!)
